Few weeks ago, I cook this Yee Fu noodle for 4 persons to eat. God added to the number because i faithfully cook for one. Hee... My sister came to me and tell me this:
"Yan, please prepare the share for my boyfriend and I to eat." WoW! she is a hard gal in choose her food. So surprise to hear this from her.
I believed she had hear many good comment on my cook. Hee.. should be form my mum radio station.
These are the ingredients.
Meat: duck meat
vegetable: golden mushroom, mushroom and chives
HE is a SPECAIL GUEST: MY DARLING BOY
He came to my house after his tution class.
He wanted to be my helper. Hee... So gald to have him with me.
Cook the mushroom together with the gravey..

On 6 Aug 2009
This is an ordinary Thursday evening in the office. But yanyan is going to do an extraordinary thing.
She is going to fulfill another NEW Year Resolution which is
SERVING the COMMUNITY with MAGIC!!!!
When Hope centre started on Flag Day to raise fund, I dun join as a volunteer. This is because I am scare of rejection. During my ploy days, I have received $1000 bursary award each year. Now I am in the social earning a little. I hope to do something for the poor and needy students. I set a goal for myself. This year July pay increment I will donate it out. To my disappointment, the amt is only 2 digital. My aim is raise $250 for a Primary School Child. I must think of a way to ask from the public instead of I going out the amt all by myself. After some deep thinking and planning,
I decided to do my first magic show to raise fund for the poor student in my office. I set 3 objectives in this show.
1. Celebrate National Day with my colleges – Entertain them and bring joy in stressful office
2. Share a Message of helping the poor and needy – Share some example how they can do it.
3. Raise $250 for Hope Centre
I have no problem in hitting the first and second objectives. But I have to get my Director approval for raising fund and perform the magic during office hour. Hee… this is because she sits near to the place I am going to perform. She is a very fierce person, I really hope to receive blessing from her for my show. I really took the courage to write an email to her with my broken English. I pray so hard that God will help me get that approval. Few hours after I send to her, she replied me in 3 words.
PLEASE SEE ME!
OH! At that moment I was so fearful that what will happen to me. Keen a big scolding from her because she may think I am treating this work place like play ground. When I went to her room, I felt like I am Moses meeting Pharaoh without Aaron around. How am I going to talk to her?
She questions me a lot and finally gave me a big smile and said “ Please do it!” WOW! Praise the Lord! I got the GREEN LIGHT!
Then I started to email all the mangers to help me invite their staffs to my show.
Amen and Amen and Amen! This is how my First Show started. I learn a lot of thing in this show. It is an experience that I will treasure.
I believed they enjoy ba. Because no one do that before in the office, they are kind of surprise ba.

Althought i dun not hit $250 but I am still very very thankful. I never imagine i can do a show in front of 100people. Who am I? I want to believe my God have a plan for me. What i am doing now is just preparing myself for His greater work.

On 2 Aug, I went to a very “High Class Place”
The place only open 5 times a year to the public. My mum has been asking us to bring her there.
So I decided to bring her there.

When we went home, My mum told me that this is her 5 years wishes of going to Istana Park. Finally she went. She was very happy that I granted her wish. After hearing this i was a bit sad. What took me so long to bring her there. I am not a very good daughter. Such a easy thing, i let her waited for so long.
Friends, Sometime we are too busy for things or people outside. Take some time to grant family member wishes.

Hello Everyone,
2 week dun upload my cooking photo. Did i lost my passion? Not really. I was sick 2 weeks ago and and brin my mum to Istan Park so i dun cook.

SO LET GO and SEE my not very suceessful
1.) Hong Kong noodles
2.) Fried Vermicelli with chicken balls
Prepared for HK noodles.
This was my Sat dinner.
THis is the most IMPORTANT sauce for the dish.
Price: $4.60 - Any idea what other dishes can use this sauce other than HK N?
Imagine 2 tablespoon each time. How many time then can i finish it?
YES! Yanyan took 2hr to prepare and cook for this dish.
Score : 4points.
Remark: Let eater waited too long. Noodle too dry. Dun have the smell of HK noodle. Just smell of fried noodle. OH.... what had gone wrong? Yanyan also dun know. The thing is now i know why outside HK noodle is so expensive le - $4.50. Because a lot of steps to cook it.

600g costed me $7.6. WOW! X...X!
At market , I was passing by one chicken stall with my buy list on hand then an uncle stop me and said in chinese"Xiao Jie First Time is it, Need my help?" Hmm... sound very RA! I quickly run to my mum's usual stall to buy. But that uncle chopped so expensive meat for me. Hee...It worth eat over all.

So yanyan did it.(even much effort was needed. Because i am cooking for my beloved mum and meimei. )
Next were Good chicken meats and last week leftover prawns.
ALL other things go down. Then become like this lor.

Hmm.... What case this to happen? PUT too many CORNFLOUR.

Remark: Taste is good even it's stick. I was a bit surprise to get praise for this dish. MY teacher taste is much nicer than this. This is a very nice dish, it is soup soup one and it is easy to cook.I will try out this again till i can cook out my teacher taste.

WHat TIME is NOW?
It is Half time. 2009 have past half le. New Year Resolution health check.
Hmm.... Not Bad have accomplished some. I have this goal setting of
"Learning C --K for 3 years"
Finally i did something to it. Thank to Jenny for asking me to join her. Every tue i will go and learn "C" for 8 sessions. so what is that C?

For my future husband? It is one of the reason. Hope he like my cook ba but currently he haven appear in my life.
The current motivation are my mum and my collueges.
I hope thro cooking this will feel love. Instead of just doing card and buy gift for ppl. I hope to do more to ppl i love.
I will continue to practise what my teacher teach me and cook for my mum. So sat and sun she can rest from cooking.
Every years end, my company will always have pot luck, every year i buy drinks for them. My aim for this year is to cook a dish for them.
Cooking is not easy for me. And it is super tiring after that. But it is worth it.
Lord, yanyan pray that i can enjoy cooking and will cook with love. May those who eat my food will feel my love and UR LOVE.

One midnight this little tired girl went home.Her mum and sis told her that the door lock has problem. The door need certain technique to lock it. But she cant learn how to do it. To make matter worst, while learning she totally spoil the door lock. The door cant open after her few try. The whole family was locked up. The panic time came. The girl quickly go yahoo to search for no. to call for help. She type in “open door number” at the search engine. Cant find any hotline to call. She over heard the conversation of her mum and sis this word locksmith. So she keyed in and press search. WOW! the savior website 24 hr service lockXXXXX with no. appeared.
Girl: “Hello are you the open lock the person ”
Him: “Hmm………… Yes!”
Girl: “we are locked inside can u come and open the door for us now. How much u charge?”
Him: “ I will reach in 30 min and charge you $120”
Girl: “Wow! so X. Can cheaper?”
Him; “ok. $100”
Girl: “Hmm… $80 can?”
Him: “$80 , I can only change the china locker for u”
Girl: “ok. Set $100. please come now”
The whole family was saved by the 24 hour locksmith.
Conclusion of the story.
The little girl gain knowledge that the person who open the door is call MR. LOCKSMITH.

Lastly, the little girl missed her father so much. How she wish that she can call upon her father to settle it. But he will never be around again. This is a fact.
