Why do we love?

I realize that the whole Dec I haven’t blog anything. I am so so busy. Christmas is a very BIG thing in Dec. My initial planned was just sit back and relax. Dun need to buy gift as it is economic crisis. I want to donate money to the poor and needy and I have done enough of décor event. But this is not his way. He stired up my mind. I was involved in our unit Christmas party planning. The more I plan the more I see the important of preparing gift for my family colleagues and friends.

What is my role in this Christmas event?
Ha…. Organise people to come to the meeting and give idea of the program. After confirming the theme.I am happy that when we are thinking of the event name, my suggestion in take in. So the event is Called

"Retro Before Christmas"

We are the team. Joe is event advicer. Janet is doing decor and admin, Yahui is the music DJ and Desmond and Shan is our retro MC.

Also not forgetting Sherry who work behind the sence.
She is the designer of our E-invite card.

What did i learn in this event?
To have a good event timing is very important. We need to build confident for our ppl to invite. Mean we have to excit them by marketing our event, update what are we doing. 3 weeks to give them a clearer picture. We minium this things call last min. I also learn a lot from our event advicer. The way we should go thro min in a meeting and how to write min. Also in a team we have to cover one another when needed help.

In this retro christmas event the most challenging part is the music and lighting like retro ball needed. But in a team we are able to solved it. We take effort and intative to settled it.

I really love to work in this team. What a blessing that i am choose to be inside. I can said that everything is done with an Excellent Spirit.

WOW!Sherry burn midnight oil to design the e-invite. Janet decor really make my Jew drop the Christams tree really very creativity that make me fall in love with it. Also how Desmond and Shan Shan cast out this scrip and their dance steps. Ya Hui and Joe, search high and low for the lighting and music.

One more things that change my perspective was the gift. Game needed gift and Lucky Draw too. Normally i have very high budget to buy gift. But this time we dun spend a single cent to buy gift. We collect from cg ppl. Ask them to donate good quality things.

We have brand new thumb-drive, bags, kettle, coffee mixer....(I never come across preparing this type of gift in church event. Really like Company D&D)

Another thing is i seldom wrap gift but all this gifts were wrapped by Shan, Deren and Me. We have a super fun time doing that.

All our effort is not wasted as we see everyone enjoying the food and games. Their Laughter is why we do so much.

Everything was so fun. We have laylay as our camera lady. She took photo for us using her high class black colour camera.

Hmm... If You know me, i like to personelise gift. Deep in my heart i wanted to give everyone a memoriable item for the retro night. So we planned to develop photo that Lay took and mail to everyone.This is my desire to give that as a christmas present. I believed seldom ppl will do this. But i just want to end this event with a little suprise. I want to touch them 3 sec and also let them know we can go extra mile to impact life thro event.

But sherry PC crash so can't help in this. I was too panic. Should I give up this idea. Overall if i never do nobody know ma. But i can't pass myself. I cant GIVE UP because i know i cant sleep well if i dun do. I searched for ppl to do for me.

YES! YES! I have 2 angels to help me. They are really really really busy, but thank God they never reject me. If they reject i really have to close case le. They did it so well done.

OK! Everyone, time to appreciate my paste a bit.

What i do and why i do.

For visitors, I need to paste a Golden paper over the card is because the background is white and need to borrow punch is to make it to feel more Christmas not so plain. I also printed out their name so that i can paste on the envolpe. hee.. My hand writing is super ugly so printing wont destroy the image of inside. I am so happy that i can find the picture on ppl dancing in the party at micsoft. This picture is like we are dancing at our retro party.

I saw the punch is so useful so i decided not to be lazy, get out my butt to make for my dept colluges as christmas gift. I bought chocolate and choose Rom 5:1 to make my card.

I don't anyhow paste this thing. By looking at this picture, there is a message in it. But i really doubt how many ppl know it. The big Christmas tree , small Christams tree , a heart and a golden snow flake.

If I tell you the message is "Jesus Love You and his glory be with you. "Can you see thro it?

Out of 60 cards i made, How many know it or being encourage?

Yanyan hope there is 2 person ba.

I really used a lot of effort. Ha.. Ha... Actually I got ask God this question la.

Lord, why do yanyan have to do all this thing? Am I a foolish person? Make something that i dun know ppl will appreciate it a not. Will anyone out there do the same things to me. Personalise a Christmas Gift for me and tell me Jesus love yanyan. I doubt so ba.

Yes! These 2 are the message God replied me.

I am someone who mind more how ppl present the gift than the gift itself.

This person wrapping make me feeling the extra mile. Just like i go extra mile to make the photo to touch ppl. I am touch for 3 sec after recieving the pink colour gift.

Next is Jesus never short change yanyan. I brought His love message to 60ppl and He is pleased with me. Even zero person can tell the picture i paste but God know.

how could this happen. Most ppl will used Christmas paper to wrap gift. God just used this person to used this love paper. God really know me very well, if this word just wrote inside a card by someone i will not get too touch because is too simple do write out le. I really want to cry le. This wrapping assuarnce yanyan that she is not a foolish person. I am not wasting more effort and money. God see it in His eyes.

Dear God, you know yanyan the best. How can I dun believe your power. 2008 is going to end. You know how i feel. I am so so scare so trouble. 2009 , what can i do more for you? Do you still want to put me in Pillip to tell them the Love or is time for me to go and look for a event corninator job?

God, please tell yanyan what to do. Dun be so silent. I am fearful for the upcoming 2009. Where will i be and what will i do?
